Tour Description

Situated in the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, Tharpu Chuli acts as a central divider between the semi-circles of peaks enclosing the sanctuary.
An attractive mountain, nicknamed ‘Tent Peak’ by Jimmy Roberts in 1956, Tharpa Chuli, part of the ridge-line south of the glacier dome, gives spectacular views of the Annapurnas, as well as being an interesting climb.

Itinerary:

Day 01 : Arrival Kathmandu – transported toHOTEL – tour briefing
Day 02 : A full-day sightseeing within the Kathmandu Valley
Day 03 : Drive or flight to Pokhara
Day 04 : Drive, Pokhara to Nayapul then trek to Ghandruk (1900 m)
Day 05 : Ghandruk / Chhomrong (2170 m)
Day 06 : Chhomrong / Bamboo (2350 m)
Day 07 : Bamboo / Deurali (2505 m)
Day 08 : Deurali / Machhapuchre Base Camp (3900 m)
Day 09 : Trek to Base Camp
Day 10: Rest day
Day 11: High Camp
Day 12 and 13: Climb and back to Base Camp
Day 14 : Base Camp to Deurali
Day 15 : Deurali / Dovan
Day 16 : Dovan / Chhomrong
Day 17 : Chhomrong / Tolkha / Dhampus / Pokhara
Day 18 : Drive or flight back to Kathmandu
Day 19 : Free time
Day 20: Transported to airport – flight to onward destination
