Tour Description

Another secluded region, without the ‘luxury’ of teahouses, Ganesh Himal is trekking country only for lovers of high and wild places, who are prepared to camp. Our trek offers some of the most impressive views into Tibet, as well as the mountains Manaslu, Buddha Himal, Ganesh Himal I, II and III and the spectacular peaks of the large Annapurna Mountains. This area is one of the most culturally diverse and ethnically fascinating in all of Nepal, being home to members of the Brahman, Gurung, Newar and Tamang castes. We set up our camps at the edge of village communities and in secluded mountain pastures, walk exposed ridge-lines and explore hillsides forested with rhododendrons.

This trek comes highly recommended by our team as one of our favourites – and makes a fabulous introduction to remote area trekking.
